Meet Our Directors
Danny & Lynn
Danny Mishkin
Danny Mishkin is a proven innovator for Jewish teen programming. Danny earned a Masters in Jewish Education at Hebrew Union College to make a career in Jewish Education. Danny was selected as a fellow in The Leadership Institute, a joint program of the Jewish Theological Seminary and Hebrew Union College. Danny is one of the co-founders of Sababa Beach Camps, and he is thrilled to combine his two passions of surfing and Jewish education to help kids feel the stoke that comes from each. Before becoming the Director of Sababa, Danny helped three failing or non-existent synagogue youth programs grow into thriving, exciting teen communities. Danny began his career working with kids at Camp Wildwood in Bridgton, ME for 7 summers, eventually becoming Athletic Director. Exposing Jewish youth to a more spiritually balanced life through surfing and other ocean activities is what Danny was born to do.

Lynn has worked in the visioning and implementation of The Leadership Institute, a joint program of the Jewish Theological Seminary and Hebrew Union College. It is this work and her love for working with tweens and teens that led her to co-found Sababa Beach Camps.
